Vero Beach Book Center is the proverbial candy store for a book lover. Need a gift other than a book? Look no further as it will be a joy to select the perfect gift. The shelves also include a used book section for the bargain hunter. Plop into a cozy chair to browse the leaves of a book or two. A wide staircase gives entrance to the extensive Children’s Section. A friendly knowledgeable staff is included free of charge!

We walked in and were greeted by the owner. The customer behind us asked for the directions to Barnes and Noble and the owner kindly proceeded to give him directions. The man then told the owner what book he was looking for and the owner reached out, picked up the book and handed it to the man without moving his feet. I will definitely be back to this great store with good people.

As a lover of all independent bookstores, I have to say that this is one of the absolute best that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. We rolled in three generations deep and could've easily spent the whole day there. Just the original artwork on the wall from visiting authors and illustrators is enough to keep you wandering and wondering which characters you'd stumble upon next. Amazing selection of books and the toy selection was huge and very reasonably priced too! All told, I can't wait to get back down there.

Overall, it’s a very nice bookstore. The used book section is a lot larger than I expected. The range of new books was a bit lacking and the prices were a bit higher than online, but overall pretty good. The entire upstairs is dedicated to kids which I loved. It’ll make shopping for my nieces and nephews a lot easier. I’ll definitely be returning.

We went following our 2 yr old's first dentist appt. It was such a treat for us. There's something there for everyone. They're not expensive and very nice. Wish they were still doing shows upstairs, but it's still a great place!

Probably 10s of thousands of titles and I assume they can arrange special orders. 2 story book vendor, so take time to peruse the selections. Didn't take photos as I thought it inappropriate. Go there, you'll appreciate it.

My husband and I visited the Vero Beach Book Center last week to attend an author event and book signing. It was the first time we had been there but it won't be our last! The store is 2 stories with a wonderful selection of books of all genres and a very large children's and YA section! The store also carried journals, cards, bookmarkers, stationery, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I had great conversations with several of them! If you have a chance, pay them a visit!

I love the way they have the used books arranged, not that I bought many because I'd already found too many new ones. Massive store I could live in if they sold food. Just a magical place with a friendly staff. You can also order books if you can't make it in person.
