This review can be updated depending on my experience going forward. Today I was to pick up my keys for my apartment only to be told the apartment wasn’t ready. I was asked if I could wait until next week to pick up my keys, unfortunately I had already put in with my current property management company I would be vacating the property on 8/31 or I would’ve waited with no problem. Chris was very helpful in finding another apartment with the same layout that would’ve been ready today. Unfortunately the apartment itself is somewhat of an eyesore and not appeasing to me also it’s no longer walking distance to the clubhouse which is one reason I purposely chose my original apartment so I can enjoy the amenities that they offer and it being a close walk instead of now a short drive. Chris definitely went above and beyond, to ensure I had a place I’m just left with a sour taste in my mouth from how my key pickup day went if I could switch to the original apartment once it’s ready I definitely would.

The property is beautiful! While visiting I got the pleasure of working with Ms. Monica. Before we walked inside the leasing office, Ms. Monica immediately greeted us at the door and assisted us. We were given a tour and she was very informative making sure to touch on all of our concerns. Her personality was remarkable and she went beyond the standard to make our experience pleasant.

When recommending this property to future residents, I'll continue to refer them to Ms. Monica.

Horrible customer service! I applied for an apartment a week ago today and have not gotten a call for a status update. In calling Monday, Chris told me he would contact me by end of day. Of course he still hasn’t found time to! What a complete waste of my time and appreciation fee! I would like someone from Corporate to call me directly regarding this experience!!

I’m a new tenant and recently moved into Village at the Gateway. Alan was very professional and made the transition into my new apartment an amazing experience. The crazy thing about me moving in was that I was in hospital prior to my move in date. Since I had already paid for everything in advance, Alan allowed my family to move me in the evening before my actual move-in which took a huge weight off my shoulders. Anytime that I called him, he has always been respectful, understanding, and eager to help. He even invited me two a couple events that was for both new tenants and then all tenants to help me get to know other tenants. My experience was more of gaining a new friend and walking into heaven. I know that sounds cheesy but it’s true. The community is quiet and everyone is nice here. I was taking trash to the dumpster and the maintenance man asked if I wanted him to take it for me. It wasn’t heavy and made me smile that he did that. I love my house-like apartment and am looking forward to enjoying my time here.

I called last year to ask the office if my pizza was accidentally delivered there and I was immediately hit with ATTITUDE from Alan. I'm sorry that I'm inconveniencing you by just asking a simple yes or no question. He never changed his tune no matter how nice I was. Just no. I hope they work on better staffing because that was ridiculous. Once I found my pizza, I didn't even wanna eat it. I had no appetite. His attitude changed my mood for the day.

Monica Ellis was super helpful and informative throughout the application and move-in process. She went above and beyond to get us in a home we loved, and it was ready for move-in. Any issues have been quickly rectified. We are loving it so far

I couldn’t be happier with my apartment! Alan Burks made it all happen for me & worked relentlessly making sure that my Great Dane & I could move in as soon as possible with the college semester starting soon. He followed up with me daily to make sure that I was happy with the game plan and even after my move-in has stayed in touch to make sure that I am happy. This is such a great community and the amenities are fabulous! If you are looking for a place to call home, this is it.
