We visited the Vintage Clothing Co on our trip into the old city of St Augustine. I was looking for t shirts to bring back to Maine for the family. There was a great selection and also a wonderful sale rack where I scored several t shirts. Mellisa from NH was very helpful and kind and we enjoyed this great shop in the old city.

I unknowingly brought the wrong receipt to these people and instead of politely telling me that I had the wrong receipt the girl who I was speaking to started yelling at me that I was at the wrong store she said she was a manager and if she’s teaching people customer service then be prepared for the rudest service in St. Augustine

As a professional, I am absolutely appalled by this store's manager (Melissa). She is incredibly rude, unprofessional and disrespectful towards potential employees. I can't believe it's 2022 and workers still can't get treated w a basic modicum of respect. I highly recommend any other potential employees stay far away from this store for their own mental health.

I was disappointed with this shop, not for lack of merchandise. But I was visiting (12-8-2017) & wanted to purchase 3 children's T-shirts & 2 Adult T-shirts or what ever I could find for my family. A girl helped me, but my first question I asked was do they ship? Her reply was NO, & I asked the question WHY? Because her boss didn't want to, & I said that was a shame, her reply was a client can go in online & order & have it shipped to there address. I said i like to see the merchandise, touch the merchandise to make sure its up to standards & is of good quality. I'm not looking to purchase something cheap & I also like to read the tags as far as maker & how to wash an article. You can't do those things when you order online! I stated I didn't have room in my suitcase to check it at the airport, we all know the larger the sizes the more money you have to pay for items. I told the girl that I had seen a post office in the vicinity of their store, BUT I didn't have time to buy the items & go back & mail the package. But I was willing to pay them for their time to do it for me. Her reply was only 2 girl workers & no one could leave the store. Nothing bad against those girls, BUT SHAME on the owner that's not willing to bend over back wards to make a sale from people walking in off the streets. I wasn't upset that I would have had to pay postage; shipping; handling etc. I was willing to pay, so MR. BUTT you just lost some money on a sale. I went into the Old Town Jerky store & bought $182.91 of merchandise & they had no problems shipping that to me. I went into the Cigar place & spent well over $200.00 & he had no problems shipping that to me either. And I PAID CASH, no items were purchased off of a charge card. I might have spent more, who knows. So Mr. Scrooge you have a Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG the year is 2017, how does the store owner get his mail. Is it delivered to his house address only? Their are all kinds of ways to mail packages these days.

Cool shop, rude staff...bordering on corrupt. We were quoted one price, then charged another ( slightly higher ) price at the register. We likely would not have thought much of it but for the arrogant staff informing us that we could not but accept their price, that returns were not accepted and, in their eyes, the transaction was complete. The goods never left their store. Horrible service, accustomed to the weakened position of tourists. Buyer beware.

We purchased a hat while on Vacation and did not have the receipt (from two days before) I asked If they could look up
my credit card info but was told they could not? They had another hat in the size we needed but REFUSED to exchange it because we didn't have the order number! The team of people in the store were very unprofessional!

Abysmal ownership... refusing to correct paycheck issues with an employee who lost over 40 hours of pay over it. Fired said employee when they asked for it to be corrected rather than fix the issue. She still has not been paid! Oh, did I mention she got fired via text? Very professional. Do not support this person or this business, please... St. Augustine has several other beautiful clothing shops to choose from.

Rude staff. My wife was inside, buying things as wives do. The bench across the walk was occupied and no sign was up. I sat on the stairs. An employee quite rudely tongue lashed me and cited the "sign" saying I should not be sitting on the stairs.... A sign she promptly stomped over to show me and had to turn around to properly display.

My wife has been to this shop at every one of our trips to St. Augustine. I do not enter many shops because of the fragrances most of you use. After today's experience at your shop I must thank you for saving me about 10-15 minutes standing/sitting as your shop will no longer be on the list of stops.

If I may offer some advice in my parting words: spend some time on customer service training for your staff.
