I was so happy to see an indoor mall.
But it is a tad bit of disappointment.
There seem to be some vacant spots and fewer people. It's a bit hot. I think they need to cool up the aircon.
I'm so glad to see the Easter Bunny activity.

May be up the decorations, aircon, activities, and promotions. Makes some deals/events with the Daytona College, Daytona race track, and neighborhood establishment.
It's really tough competition when you're just a few miles at the outlet mall .
Restaurants nearby seem to be doing well.

I remember growing up when this mall used to be very popular and you could hardly find parking now this mall is pretty much dead it smells like mold and mildew on the inside, lights barely work and one corridor looks incredibly dangerous they don't even pretend to care about the location.Anymore, nothing has ever fixed.Nothing is ever cleaned and
It's starting to get dangerous when you see homeless people come up and accost you while you're trying to enter the mall. Tanger outlets is much better. First time being to this mall since covid and I'm surprised it's even open only like 10 ish stores open and 3 places in the food court that look run down and a front for money laundering.

I was at the Florida Mall last week and it was bustling with life sad what this ghetto mall has become though given what town Daytona is I'm not surprised unfortunately

There is still a lot of good stores in the mall but there’s a lot of stores still empty. There’s only 2 places to eat at in food court. Need more things in mall.

The Volusia Mall in Daytona Beach was a very disappointing experience. We aren’t from Daytona, so we looked up a place to shop and went. The mall is very dilapidated and smells terrible, with most of the lighting not working, making it dark and dingy. Many stores are closed, leaving few shopping options. Additionally, the overall atmosphere felt unsafe, making our visit quite unpleasant. I'm surprised it's even still open.

Since they opened up the Tanger outlets this mall is never crowded and still has a good variety of stores to shop from.

An excellent mall to shop! An enormous amount of different shops and markets. Plenty of free parking. It is very clean inside.

I thought based on the proximity to the racetrack it would be a solid mall. Alas, no. Lots of vacant storefronts and the saddest food court you ever did see. The stores are decent,at least.

Malls are a dying breed, as everyone is making their purchases online. As for the Volusia Mall, they failed due to the same reason. The place only has half the occupancy regarding stores and most of the remaining stores are not worth the time, except Dillard’s, which I believe had four different locations. The best store in the mall was a brand-new game shop, which sells board games and cards and they are still unpacking everything. I would not recommend wasting your time.
