Walmart Pharmacy - Diamond Bar, California

I asked about compression socks, and one employee of the pharmacy area told me that they have not, I looked in aisle 1B, and I found them, it happen today 09/23/2024 around 9:30 am.

They need to know their items in inventory.

I called around 9am (when they just opened) to confirm if they have my medication as it was a new script. They said yes and it'll be ready in one hour. I came in at 4:30pm to pickup. The pharmacist Cindy, said they can't give my prescription because that's not the normal way of dosing that medication and couldn't get a hold of my doctor. I asked her “Why wouldn't you call me as the customer so I can pick up my prescription that day because it was urgent?” She said “ I will, next time”. It’s too late for next time because I need the medication today. Doctors office was already closed but thankfully my doctor called back because we called his emergency line and gave the okay. Stating “yes that dosage is correct”

Cindy, you're just a pharmacist. If the medical doctors prescription is present and accurate you don't need to verify again because it doesn't look "correct" to you. You’re not looking out for your customer because it is a disservice of me not picking up my meds on a timely manner. Call your customer next time. Terrible communication!

I recently moved from another state to Diamond Bar, so of course I'm transferring a several scripts, one of which had super strict laws around transferring/dispensing. They instantly reached out to my doctor and made it super easy! The acting pharmacist here is a total sweetheart and I would say 10/10 overall!

This is a review on my first impression at this newly opened Walmart which was my first visit. I went to this Walmart being that it is in our own neighborhood and I like to support our community. I use to go outside the neighborhood if I needed to shop at Walmart. The service was more pleasant at these other Walmart's. This chain does not always have the best customer service, however this new Diamond Bar location is by far the worst customer service in all the Walmart's that I have given my hard earned money to. I am not hard to please, a Cashier can at least greet you and thank you for your business, which didn't happen here. They were not busy at all, as a matter of fact there was no one next in line behind me. I past this store a few days ago and it did not look like it was open yet so I called and the girl that answered was not rude, but not very friendly either when I asked if they were opened and what the store hours were, it appeared as though I was bothering her. I did give two stars for the other workers in this store that were pleasant when helping me find my way around this new Diamond Bar Walmart when I couldn't find certain products. However whoever hired this particular checker really needs to screen them a little better. There are a lot of individuals that would like or need to have her job. I forgot to purchase something at Walmart and was leaving the parking lot I just headed over to Albertson's across the street, when I got to the check out, wow what a difference I was treated so much better, what a difference. People of Diamond Bar will pay for better service Walmart, keep that in mind. Hope that management secret shops or has a better handle on this. The names of the individuals do not matter, all the employees should provide better service. I don't see this store lasting very long especially when the people of Diamond Bar can receive better customer service, and will pay more for it as well elsewhere.

Ghetto Walmart. With metallic looking shelving and overripe produce, this Walmart brings down the neighborhood. Discounts are not as generous as some of the other supermarkets in the area. It's only a matter of time before the Center has to add security.
