Very good offering or organic items, produce, and teas/spices. There was also a great choice of flours and baking ingredients, even things that are very uncommon.

The selection is excellent. I highly recommend shopping here to find great things you cannot buy at other stores. However, once outside, the parking lot feels very unsafe, even for me, a healthy young man. There is nothing to protect pedestrians from the cars in the parking lot. The owners should seriously consider adding some striping and concrete dividers before someone gets killed. I drew a rendering of what I mean. My picture sucks, but you get the idea.

you don't know how great wards is until you are out of town and realize they don't have a wards. love this place a lot. great staff too

Besides a great local coffee selection, this place really doesn't impress. It's cramped and unless you're familiar with the layout, it can be hard to find things. If you're committed to shopping locally, this is a great place. I just don't think there are many reasons for me to come back, especially not with all the hype the place gets.

Can't believe I was sleeping on it for so long. There's so many good finds at Ward's. Produce is very fresh. They have a huge selection for everything and it's not even as expensive as Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. I love Ward's so much I will definitely shop here more often.

I love wards supermarket. This place has great produce. Excellent cuts of meat and their entire staff is extremely kind. They have a huge selection of local products. Although one time a car caught on fire in their parking lot.

Skip the baked goods. Moldy loaves were sitting in the bakery shelf earlier this week, still a day or two before their sell-by dates. We reported them quietly at the time and decided to buy some other loaves with later dates. It was our first time at Ward’s; we wanted to give it a fair shot.

I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised when THOSE breads also molded earlier than their sell-by dates.

I feel awful writing this in a review, because I loved visiting Ward’s. The staff is friendly, the storefront is cute, the local honey was tasty, the meats were plentiful, and the produce looked beautiful.
But, regrettably, I’m too traumatized to go back.

We love Ward's for their fresh produce, bulk goods and spices, fresh meats, and wide array of unusual and exotic foods you can't find in big box stores. You'll want a small cart for their aisles, but everyone flows through the store peacefully even when it's crowded. There are very few things you can't find at Ward's, and nothing in their selection is poor quality. Come try it on a week day and browse the aisles to explore food and other goods you just can't find elsewhere, as well as fresh local farmers' foods that are as fresh as your garden.
