It's quite fun to swim here. I swim here for 4-four hours. The tickets were $20 per adult from outside of the county.

There is no change room.
There is no bar, no alcohol, no shop for food.

Bring your own slippers.
Bring your own food, water.

There is a free restroom with no hot water.
There are at least three life guards always waiting.
There are a lot of plastic chairs and shezlongs for free.
There is a feet washer water available.
Toilets are clean here.

Disappointing Experience at Warm Mineral Springs

We paid $20 per person, expecting a relaxing, warm soak, but the water wasn’t even warm. There were floating algae, making it feel unclean, and the structures were old and poorly maintained. While the place was quiet with a nice natural setting, it just didn’t feel worth the price—especially if the water isn’t actually warm. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Very interesting place. I just visited (Jan 2025) and pretty much only the spring is open because of hurricane damage. I’ve heard very good things about the artifacts and whatnot that they usually have on display but that is currently unavailable. The gift shop, snack bar etc is still closed. It’s definitely something you don’t see every day. Be prepared for the sulfur smell it can be a lot to handle for some and you will probably want a shower after you get out of the spring. Luckily I went on a day that there was barely anyone there so it was enjoyable but I would not want to be there on a day that it’s at capacity!

Mineral Springs are different from springs so be prepared... the mineral content of this prehistoric spring makes the water appear blue green and cloudy. I use a walker but I was able to hold on to a ramp and a railing to get in and out of the spring and there was some wonderful Aqua aerobics with music going on every Monday and Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. lots of all different types of people there. Lots of foreigners, older people, young couples. Not many kids at all. It did make my skin feel very good afterwards. Some swear that it helps with the aches and pains. I had to drive 4 hours so I'm going to take that into account. I would wear water shoes. But it was pleasant. $20 to get in but if you live in the area there are passes.

I am not sure if the place suffered a lot of damage from the storms or is just really run down. All of the buildings are severely damaged, closed, and gated off. The ticket booth, athrooms, and showers are located in the metal baracks. The grouds are relatively well kept, but there is quite a bit of geese poop floating in the spring. I recommend bringing a noodle to float on.

Waters very drying to skin and hair, but it wasnt too crowded, everyone was spaced out and we had a great time with the kids watching water aerobics. I can't wait to go back!

It's pricey given the buildings are all condemned and there was only 1 food truck available with a very limited menu. We paid $70 for 2 adults and 2 kids, and the only attraction is the spring pond itself.. however, the spring was clear (even with having a lot of people swimming that day) .. the center of the spring is the deepest part and it's completely black, but the shallow edges range from 4-10 ft and were clear to the bottom. We visited in March and there wasn't much algae or anything slimy in the water (some other reviews suggested there would be) so that was nice.. there are chairs and tables available first come first serve, and sporadic tree shade.. allowed floats are limited to the pool/foam tubes... no air floats permitted. Overall it was decent. Would like to visit again once the building are operational.
