I came here to rent a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), though I usually rent from SUP Weeki or across the river. But despite the concerning reviews, I decided to give them a fair chance. Unfortunately, that was a mistake.

Strike 1: The owner refused to let me park my truck in their lot. Not being from the area I expressed concern of leaving my truck across the bridge as there were plenty of spaces in the lot I could easily park. The older woman behind the counter stated "Because we’re really busy today and because she's the owner and she said so."

Strike 2: From the moment I drove in, I was treated as though my business was unimportant. The dismissive attitude was impossible to ignore.

Strike 3: When I mentioned that other rental businesses offer a discount for paying in cash, I received a condescending response. The woman at the counter, with an eye-roll and the trademark teenage head shake, sneered, “Yeah, you don’t have to pay the 10% credit card fee.” The tone alone was enough to sour the experience.

I genuinely love supporting small businesses, but respect and customer service matter. If a business treats its customers with this level of disregard, they don’t deserve that support. I’ll happily take my business elsewhere—and recommend others do the same.

What a fun place!! The staff was knowledgeable and funny. The kayaks kept in good shape. Cute gift shop as well. We paddled up and saw manatees and tons of fish. Highly recommend. It’s the only kayak company directly on the main river.

The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Very kind honest people. All the equipment was reasonably priced and the gift shop items were also fair! The water was amazing and so clear. We saw several manatees, other cool wildlife in the river. The water is always warm because it is spring feed so it feels great year round. Worth a trip! Also it is the cleanest river I have ever seen. No trash in the whole thing so please don't litter in it!!

Called ahead about an hour out to reserve a tandem kayak. They were ready for us to check in and waiting by the dock upon our return. Everyone was friendly (cute dog was working too!). Will definitely come back!

The guys here were very friendly and informative. My reservation was honored with no problems. kayak rental prices are more than fair with accessories such as dry bags and so forth that you may need. The river itself is beautiful, the paddle out is a bit tough and not for beginners. The kayaks are only about 9 1/2 feet long hence less control over your direction.

What a great experience! Definitely make a reservation first! $55 for a double kayak and $80 for a double clear kayak. The people running the kayak rentals were super nice and helpful! We went at 10:30 on a Saturday and there was no line to check in. A lot of people in the river but we still saw 3 manatees!

My new favorite place to go kayaking, absolutely stunning. Got to see a couple of manatees and a dolphin ! There’s a snack boat that floats through which is nice but if you get hungrier just hit the upper deck after your adventure. Fair prices and friendly staff.
