Had such a blast here! The place is awesome. I paid $15 to launch my own kayaks on their docks. So worth it. When we were done kayaking, we had a few beers, listened to some music, and ate awesome food from the restaurant/food truck. Drinks and food were decent prices. Staff were really nice. Definitely plan to go back.

First time at Wekiva and will definitely come back. In addition to a most beautiful setting and crystal clear water, the facility has so much to offer. The staff is great - friendly and on top of everything. The bar has a great selection (try the River Water) and the food selection is amazing. This is a must visit!

We love to visit Wekiva river. The Island is my favorite with a big food truck, private cabanas, expensive rentals (save after 4pm), wine on nitrogen tap and other good beverages. See gators, fish, fun in the sun

Great kayaking spot. Not difficult. Can make it as short or as long as you want. We got there on a cool day so managed a quick hour and a half and didn't even break a sweat!

Even managed to see a manatee up by the spring which was nice. Will certainly be back here again.

Great spot for dates or family and friends time!

River tour whose cool waters are fed by the local spring. Small tour given by the Captain "Angel".
He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The small pontoon type boat easily navigated the water. The tour was quiet and serene. Beautiful nature!

Was a really nice experience and place! The manager or owner (not sure) was super friendly from the beginning. We were nit able to swim due the high level of water, the staff apologized multiple times, it was not necessary, nature happens.
Cheap and good beer and reasonable prices for food. I thought that waterboats and swimming there was allowed and two drunk guys were doing it. I was a little disappointed that no one of the staff said anything to them.
We still had a great time.

What nice place to see friends while having a cold beer and great food. The fish tacos are amazing.
Nice art shop with works by fantastic artists.
Three things could be improved.
1. More parking. It is limited and fills quickly.
2. More comfortable chairs. They fill even quicker and no one leaves them for hours.
3. Spray the trash buckets as the yellow jackets are everywhere and those with sting allergies could be in big trouble
I will continue to go, but much earlier in the day.

The kayak and canoe rentals allow you to see what early Florida was like.
An incredible number of birds as ❤️‍🩹 as alligators and turtles.
All at reasonable prices.

Go up
