Absolutely beside myself. As an avid Bourbon collector, I was excited to learn that this place was nearby. I even complimented the gentleman behind the register when I walked in about the nice selection of whiskey and bourbon they had in stock. I decided to purchase four (4) bottles of Penelope Bourbon, totaling approximately $265,

When I went to check out, a black female attendant at the register appeared to have an attitude already. I handed the female three (3) one hundred (100) dollar bills for the four (4) bottles. She then held the dollars up in the air to check It’s authenticity. Seeing a pen counterfeit tester next to the register, I suggested to the attendant that she use the pen on the three bills if she is concerned for them being counterfeit (which they were not). The female cashier then told me I did not know what I was talking about when it came to counterfeit money. It should be noted that I own and operate multiple businesses and deal with cash every single day. After making this comment, she showed the bills to the male employee, whom I complimented earlier, and he said they looked fine.

When the cashier continued to make a big deal about the bills in front of other customers, I told her to give me my money back because I no longer wanted to do a transaction strictly due to her behavior and attitude, I had to tell her multiple times before she surrendered back to me.

It would be nice for the owner of this store to reach out to me.

Customer service is good, but the prices are astronomical. I cannot believe the significant difference in price. I paid $38 for the large bottle of Tito‘s, which is $29.99 at Costco. Enough said.I probably will not go there anymore.
