The ladies at the front office are amazing and helpful. All our roofing permits request are processed timely. They review the application, and let you know of any documentation is missing or pending. They are always willing to help and explain everything.
I have been here many times over the years, and the service always above expectation. No issue with the parking at all. Waiting time at the most 30 min. Thank you for the good experience!

The Ladies of the West University public works office are the best! Mrs. Angela, Trina, Josie are all PHENOMENAL. They handle upset contractors with finesse, knowledgeable responses, and respect though they might not get it back in return. I enjoyed submitting applications to these ladies because they make sure you have no delays. PHENOMENAL I TELL U!

High turnover of office staff. The current set of permit techs are much more friendly than the previous. Everything has to be done in person which makes anything very time consuming. Even the simplest of things. It would be much better if they had an online portal like most other municipalities do nowadays. Their system is quite inefficient.

Tried to obtain a recycling bin to bring in materials to avoid going to landfill. Office staff was too busy to assist but had the time to inform me that I am unable to recycle due to not being within West U municipality limits, according to their Google search. Informed them that I lived less than a mile away and was informed to stop by but if they knew where I could take my recyclings ♻️ and was rudely told they were too busy and to Google it myself.

If i could rate 0 stars I would. Permit clerks are extremely unfriendly & routinely refuse to accept permits so they don't have to work. They don't answer the phone & are completely unwilling to help. Be Clear, they don't care about their citizens. only the money entering their pockets. Attitude, execution, & accountability are severely lacking here.

Unfriendly and unhelpful clerks behind the glass screen. Pulling permits is such a hassle in this community. You only leave frustrated after walking out of this office.
