Great resort offering a wonderfully different experience. We took our grandkids(ages 4 and 6) and we kept busy every day. The rodeo was great and the petting zoo and pony rides were a big success! The cabin was perfect for the 6 of us and very clean. Love having a washer and dryer in the units. Would have given five stars but they would not refund us our horseback riding purchase. I thought small children could ride with adults but they do not allow small kids to ride. They wouldn’t refund me so I lost that money. We did do the airboat ride and it was lots of fun. Our guide was great and very informative. The kids loved getting to see the buffalo up close. Not an every year trip but definitely a great place for kids! The water park was not finished yet so we did not get to experience that, but it looks like it will be lots of fun.

We had an outstanding dining experience at Chop House at Westgate River Ranch Resort and Rodeo, thanks to our exceptional waiter, Sam. From the moment we were seated, Sam provided top-notch service with a warm and friendly demeanor. He was incredibly attentive, ensuring our drinks were always refilled and that we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Sam’s knowledge of the menu was impressive—he made excellent recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. His professionalism and genuine hospitality truly enhanced our evening. If you’re dining at Chop House, be sure to ask for Sam—you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend.

What a great and unique experience. This place is not only a great destination but also a place to enjoy the outdoors. We really appreciate the love and enthusiam the employees showed. Among them James who taught us how to shoot at the range and Nykeisha who helped us at the escape room. Our rancher esteban also was very polite and honestly everybody on the staff was great!

100% recommend Westgate River Ranch as an adventurous, outdoorsy and unique family getaway. With our particular booking, all resort activities were included; this made it simple and technically cheaper for all of us to do a plethora of activities. Food and items around the resort are reasonably priced. Everything was super clean. Despite it being a holiday weekend, we were glad it never felt overly-crowded. All of the workers were super nice, helpful and patient. With one exception, the server at the restaurant by check-in area was somewhat rude, however the manager quickly remedied the situation. More bathrooms on property would be a plus; bike paths/sidewalks for the many young bikers would help keep them from taking up the streets. The rodeo was delayed to start, but was fun and engaging. It was our first time experiencing a rodeo and well worth it if you haven't been - the MC was great. So many activities for the kids (whether they're toddlers or teenagers) such as mini golfing, rock climbing, bouncing pads, petting zoo, skeet shooting, and much much more. Beautiful landscaping and well-kept animals. Overall it was so lovely of an experience. We WILL return soon and with others!

Our visit to Westgate River Ranch Resort was absolutely magnificent! From start to finish, the customer service was exceptional. Rubi in the front office was warm, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. Tony at the front desk also took great care of us and made sure everything was just right— Especially with one little glitch, but he fxed it right away period ,his attentiveness did not go unnoticed.

Janelle in Activities was amazing—her enthusiasm and energy brought every event to life and made it extra fun for our entire family. And Andrew, the singing cowboy, was phenomenal! His talent and charisma added such a unique and memorable touch to our experience.

During our horseback riding adventure, Mina and her husband Yeager were incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. Both of my kids are neurodivergent, and the entire staff’s understanding and accommodating nature meant the world to us. They made sure both kids felt safe, comfortable, and included every step of the way.

We’re so grateful for the unforgettable memories and the truly outstanding service. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy another adventure at Westgate River Ranch Resort!

We had the best time. Stayed in the TeePee and did the luxury camping, you Get a golf cart to ride around in, and kids get access to all activities! So much to do for adults and Kids. Great food, drinks and family fun!

This place is amazing!if you are looking for a great vacation, Westgate River Ranch is the place. I have food restrictions and the chef (Jose) took his time to ensure my meal was 100% right. Samuel H our server, was amazing and everyone from the resort truly understand the meaning of service. Job well done!! We will tell everyone about the amazing experience we had. ❤️🐴
