Witt's was recommended to me by a couple of locals, so I ran down to see if they could help me out. I gave them a thumb drive, and a few minutes later they gave me everything I asked for. This is a great one-stop-shop! They offer office supplies and furniture, mail services, a cute gift shop section and more! We found an office item we needed here, that was no where else in town! I'm so impressed with the staff here at Witt's, for their help with a few large parcels that had to be shipped. FedEx ground was estimating almost $150 for a large box, though it was very light. When I went into Witt's last week the nice lady actually helped me make a custom bike box. All it took was a little folding, cutting and taping the box around the bike frame, with plenty of room for bubble wrap and we saved $75 in excess shipping fees. I'm going back here every time I have something that needs shipping. They also have a good selection of office supplies, electronic accessories, equipment and gifts. Nice to browse, too.

Wonderful staff......everyone is very helpful. I really appreciated getting everything completed in one place. While I was there, they were constantly busy with customers. I was impressed! UPDATE: I went in this past week and was actually fitted for the right chair for all my online work. FABULOUS SERVICE. Very comfortable chair. Many thanks!!!

If I could give them negative stars I would. I ordered some cards to be printed out a month and a half before my friends wedding shower. Despite them pushing the date back multiple times they couldn’t pull there act together to actually print it out on the card stock I wanted. They had everything including the template and still no cards. When I finally got in contact with a manager she told me all kinds of excuses about how the woman that answers the phone doesn’t know anything about where they keep orders and then was rude to me when I told her I had been waiting over a month. I ended up getting the cards printed down in bakersfield for a quarter the cost at Office Depot all in under 20 minutes from start to finish.

I have lived in Tehachapi for about four years. In that time, I have purchased office furniture, used their copy sevice, fax service, bought special occasion gifts and purchased all of my office and business suplies there.
Witt's is a drop off location for Fed Ex, UPS and USPS. I stopped there to drop off a prepaid parcel for UPS and there was no paperwork for them to do. I was told there would be a $1.00 charge for there service (which would be for my package to sit on the floor until UPS would pick it up). I politely protested and was told that was "store Policy".
I ended up going to their only competitor in town and my package was accepted with a smile (and no charge for the drop off). Goodbye Witt's, hello Postal ASAP.

After a ridiculously long wait for a fax confirmation I asked what was going on. I was told they could not give me a confirmation because someone else was waiting for an incoming fax. I had to leave for work so asked them to email me the confirmation. Then I was told that would cost me a dollar. When I said I thought that was weird, I was told I could stop by later and pick up the confirmation!!!!! Hardly convenient. Have not been back since. The service at the place across the parking lot from McDonald's is faster.

I have been going to Witts for years. Today I went in to get something laminated. It was about $3. So when I asked the lady to cut it (you know those cutting boards with the long blade handle that cuts a nice edge in about 2 seconds?) the young lady told me it was a $40 charge. WHAT?
I said, did I hear you right? FOUR ZERO? 40 dollars to walk over to that cutting board, give it 2 whacks and come back in less than 30 seconds?
Yep
They’ve always done that in the past, just trim the edges of what ever. But now they have a $40 per hour charge and a 1 hour minimum to trim your little laminated card.
I told them they have OFFICIALLY LOST THEIR MINDS!!
I wanted to go in and videotape the explanation and put in on YouTube. Still can’t believe it!!
Walmart will be here soon. I usually would pledge my allegiance to the small guy trying to raise a family in a small town, and before today I would have continued to go to Witts for all my needs.
But you simply can’t do stupid absurd things like this and expect to keep your customer base.
So long Witts. I vote with my wallet. You’re fired.
