Wonderful experience at Yates GMC, I appreciated the aggressive pricing and upfront offer of discounts and rebates. No games played here like so many dealers do. Matt made the deal happen with a few questions and focusing in on my interest. James was fantastic as he took care of all the details. Friday afternoon made the deal and Saturday morning picked up the vehicle. Yates couldn't have made this easier or more convenient for me. Yates is definitely a great ambassador for the GM brands of Buick and GMC. BTW, their coffee machine is awesome!

I bought my truck from this dealer s few years ago. From jump there were irritating aspects of the experience there.
Some of the vehicles I was interested in were dead. Not a good selling point on the lot.

I purchased my truck from them. I had to sit and wait an added 30 minutes once the deal was done because my salesman decided to go on a test drive with another customer while he had the keys to my new to me truck in his pocket.

I purchased the extended warranty Yates offers. I was told the owner of Yates and the owner of the extended warranty company were good friends.

The service department at Yates in the beginning was on point. My service advisor, Titus knew his stuff and took care of business. Communicated well and made sure I, the customer was taken care of. After Titus left, the service department in my opinion left with him.
I started having typical Chevy issues with my transmission. My service advisor, Alex was having a hard time getting in touch with the warranty company.
After some time went by, the warranty company approved a rebuilt transmission. To my knowledge Yates only has one technician who handles transmission work. Because of that the wait time for transmission work at Yates is weeks out.

Communication from the service department to the customers is terrible. After several attempts and transmissions installed by Yates, I'm now having more issues with the transmission where it's leaking bad. After a total of 5 months being at the dealer on and off and 4 transmissions later, I've lost faith that Yates can fix my truck.

On the last time my truck was at Yates for service, my bullet antenna was stolen off my truck. No biggie, I replaced it. However my truck was ready for a week and no one called/text to say anything. Meanwhile I'm paying for Lyft and giving people gas money for entire week for no reason.

Definitely go somewhere else.

I recently purchased a 2019 Toyota sequoia, and Moises was my sales person. Moises was very helpful and kind. He took his time to get us the best deal and didn’t rush us into anything. He took the time to listen to what I wanted in my new SUV and found the perfect one for me-a 2024 Buick Encore GX with a Sport Touring Pkg. Pictures Below. 2015 Chevy Silverado - made an appointment for an airbag recall as well as engine trouble. I did not get my recall taken care of because they went into the engine first they took my engine apart charge me $950. They wanted approximately $8000-$13,000 for engine repair work had to get a tow truck and tow my truck back home with engine apart mind you I drove it in and had to call a tow truck to take it to my house because I do not have that kind of money saved up To get my engine fixed on my truck. I wish the service advisor. Chris Brown would’ve told me Pedro if we go into the engine and find damage it could cost you thousands of dollars I had an impression that it was only gonna cost me like $2000 pr $3000 Dollars and wish Chris would’ve told me to just hold off if I didn’t have that kind of money because it could cost upwards of up to $13,000 then it would’ve only cost me $120 for the diagnostics. I’ve had bad experiences at Gateway Chevrolet That’s the reason that I’ve been to Yates not only to buy vehicles but to get my vehicle serviced there and for this to happen to me specially when I am living paycheck to paycheck really hurts to have taken my truck there driving in paid $950 to have Yates service take my engine apart had to pay $140 for tow truck and take my truck home with my engine apart and the Recall not fixed. $1,090.00 for taking engine apart, tow truck and recall not attended to. Feel like I got taken advantage in a sense because I had too get a new vehicle, now i’m stuck with two payments and a truck that’s an operative ! Peace

Overall this is a nice place to shop for a vehicle if you are in the Phoenix area. But I don't like is there mandatory $2,000 package that you have to add on to the vehicle for tinting and warranty on the interior.
