I have been meaning to post this for a few months. This shop is wonderful. The owners are great people doing community work to help others and I’m so thankful. As an abuse survivor I was recently left with no personal possessions. My small children were growing quickly from toddlers to little ones who needed a bigger space. The Family Advocate Center was trying to help and put me in touch with Yavapai Mattress. Although they didn’t have any beds available through there charity. They still went above and beyond to help me get into new beds for my kids. I also like that the mattresses were made in the US. They were affordable and my kids are comfortable and sleep soundly. Thank you for running such a great little place. I’ll be back in the future for any other mattresses I may need. 🫶

Michael and Melody are so kind. They listened to me while I told them what I needed in a mattress. I tested some out in the store and found the perfect queen mattress. They delivered it and set it up in my room and moved my old mattress into my son’s room. They were friendly and professional throughout. I have been sleeping on my mattress for several nights now and I couldn’t be happier. They really care about their clients and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company for your mattress needs!

Terrible experience. Bought a Scott Living/Restonic mattress and almost immediately the mattress began sinking, not to mention so uncomfortable that we now sleep in another room.

The Yavapai Mattress owner refused to offer a refund (they did offer for us to buy another, more expensive mattress) and the manufacturer denied our warranty claim. Ridiculous. We feel shafted, to say the least. Nope - not willing to spend a dime more at this place.

I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere if you're seeking a trial period, a satisfaction guarantee, or a flexible return policy. 90% of mattress stores offer trial periods and/or satisfaction guarantees - this business does not and won't budge on it. I also think their off brand manufacturers are most likely producing sub-par quality products. Why would a mattress sink after 3 months? Why no trial period? We got the run-around on those questions.

Imagine buying a car and the salesperson says - “Sorry, you can’t test drive it before you buy it.” You’d be suspicious of the car and the dealership, right?

Tried contacting the Restonic company directly and got another runaround. They provided a contact at a place called “Adventure Mattress”. They won't answer calls.

The more I dig, the more I am discovering a layer of companies and people connected to this manufacturer and the retailer. Google "Restonic mattress issues" and you’ll see some pretty negative reviews similar to mine.

We regret dealing with Yavapai Mattress and Restonic. Recommend you shop elsewhere.

Update: An “independent” company was dispatched to assess the mattress. Took several calls and emails to get them scheduled. Took longer to get their report which was falsified by the technician. We are now moving forward with legal action. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND ALL WHO THEY ASSOCIATE WITH.

In January 2024 I purchased a mattress from this company. I am so impressed with the owners' knowledge of mattresses. The care they show towards their customers is exceptional. I only want to do business with people I can trust, especially when it comes to buying a mattress. As a final note, they gave me a beautiful carved wooden sleigh bed frame, that someone donated to them. I had let Micheal and Melodie know that I recently come out of housing insecurity and they told me they had the bed frame available if I wanted it. Blessings to you both!

We drove to Arizona waiting for escrow to close on our new house. We bought a mattress from Michael and Melodie. They were so knowledgeable about the types of mattresses down to the core. We were going to spend the night in our new home. We went to pick up the mattress on the same day at about closing. It turned out the mattress did not fit in the cargo van that we brought. Michael was so nice and brought the mattress to our house that night. A great family business. I highly recommend them!!!
